This is 1 of 2 posts of photographs that I took recently of abandoned factory buildings on N Main St in Redding, CT. The Norwalk River runs past the side of the "triangle" building. Train cars used to offload their contents at this building. Unfortunately vandals have broken windows and left trash in this area, which is probably why there is a "No Trespassing No Sightseeing" sign at the gate that leads into the expansive property.
The first photograph is my entry for the following:

It's sad to see abandoned buildings.
Thanks for visiting my blog Anne.
...well they are sights to see.
A bit urbex. Hope the building can be reused. It looks useable and in an era we have to recycle its better then to destroy.
What stories these old buildings must hold.
Great photos, I always love seeing old buildings like these. Valerie
Abandoned buildings make nice photos. They are always sad to see but they still stand. Nice photos of the building, my favorite is the last one.
I love old factory buildings like that one!
It's a shame people abuse the facility so that the warnings are required. We have some abandoned buildings here that would make good photos if the line of sight wasn't blocked. I love your perspective in that third one.
It's amazing that we in the States allow this to happen. If we lived in Europe, someone would find a way to preserve these old buildings and find ways to make them useful, too. Great photos and sad times.
Very creative photography of a vintage landscape ~
