This is 2 of 2 posts of photographs that I took recently of abandoned factory buildings on N Main St in Redding, CT. The Norwalk River runs past the side of the "triangle" building. Train cars used to offload their contents at this building. Unfortunately vandals have broken windows and left trash in this area, which is probably why there is a "No Trespassing No Sightseeing" sign at the gate that leads into the expansive property.

There is something fascinating about old abandoned buildings, isn't there? Nice photos in both of your posts Anne. Do you think these buildings will be torn down, recycled into something new or just left longer? hugs-Erika

I wonder what it was like when the factory was in full operation. What did the workers think about it. Interesting thoughts that come to mind. Nice photos!
