"Honey Bee" - Postcard

This week's Take  a Word challenge theme was "Bees." Sadly, it is also their last challenge. Understandably, they are saying Goodbye, but they are still continuing with their other two sites. Over the years, I have had less time to be able to participate in all of the great challenge sites that are out there. And I still tear up over Marie's passing. She gave me guidance and assistance when I first started creating artwork on my blog.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Life has to move on. Great use of the bee. Any attention we can draw to pollinators and their vital role in nature is a job well done. Bravo, Anne.

Wow, Miss Anne, this is a really wonderful piece of bee art. Thank you for your kind words regarding the closure of Take a Word and for your memories of Marie. I hope to see you at the Muses when you get the time ... you've been missed.
