Beautiful photo. To clarify what I wrote on my blog, the death rate from Covid-19 is based on the how many people who test positive to it actually die from it. Currently that number is 1.8% in the US and 3.6% worldwide.

In comparison, flu has a .13% death rate out of people who get it. Neither of these numbers is based on the total population, just the diagnosed patients. Of course, many people have flu who never report it. I've had flu multiple times and probably only told my doctor once or twice. No doubt this happens with Covid also, since some people have light cases.

That said, my daughter was very sick with Covid for two months so she did get tested. Fortunately she has mostly recovered except for some lingering after effects.

It appears I'm once again running behind visiting your blog. I'll be by tomorrow (Sunday) to catch up on what I've missed. At least that's the plan, anyway, Anne.

That is a really gorgeous winter image. We have had so many bright sunny days this winter that scenes like this have not been hard to find.
