"T Stands For Teddy And Let Them Sip Tea Cake" - Photograph

I am joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth for this week's T Stands For challenge found here.

Note to all: last week and this week, I've been having problems where I leave comments for everyone, but not all of those comments actually appear. I visit everyone, so if you don't see a comment from me, it means blogger didn't save my comment. :-(

This is my summation of the past week:

Teddy will be serving double duty as my main image plus as my "T-Day ticket" for my T-Day posts for awhile.

Weather-wise, we've gone from unseasonably warm to unseasonably cold here in Connecticut. And we got about 4" (10.16 cm) of snow Saturday into early Sunday morning, that ended with freezing rain, so there was a crust on top of the snow, which made shoveling it a joy (sarcasm).

I still haven't been doing much online nor with my artwork, so it's another week with not much to mention.

If you missed Erika's post where she made a beautiful tag using a flooring sample, I added a link to it in one of my "how to" sections on my blog, because I thought it was a very clever idea: Tag using flooring sample.

During one of the warm days we had, I got out and took some photographs: Male Deer, Westport Library Riverwalk Reflections, Male Mallard Duck, Male Red-breasted Merganser.

Postcard: Pens and Nibs.

movies:

Aeon Flux (2005) (DVD) Okay, but it's another one of those movies where some humans have superhuman capabilities as if they are a cartoon person, not a real person. And there are problems with at least one plot premise that made it impossible to believe.

The Dark Tower (2017) (DVD) very good

Sounds like you had a good week and got a lot done. Teddy looks great, as always, and I am sure all tea-lovers would enjoy those teas. Happyy T Day and have a good week, Valerie

those are some decadent cakes in that magazine Teddy is sharing! We had the same weather but even less snow than you which I was thankful for. Happy T day!

Tea and cake sound good. We got 3 inches of snow, but didn't get the freezing rain. It is freezing today. Last I looked at the thermometer, the temp. was
9 oF. At least it was still above zero. You and Teddy stay warm today. Happy T Day

Good morning Anne, wintry weather here at the lake too-but my shoveling was much easier-the snow was light and fluffy so I was able to push it all to the side with a broom-I wanted it cleared of the hill so it would not turn to ice. very cold here too. Happy T hugs Kathy

It's unseasonably cold here, too. I heard some people actually saw some snow flurries, but though I looked I never saw any.

Ah, the Dark Tower. I never got past the casting on that one lol

Happy T Tuesday

Wow, those cakes looks perfect and would go wonderfully with a cup of tea 😀. It sounds cold where you are with all the snow, it seems it must still be winter as we've had frosty mornings here this week which is unusual as we live by the beach. Wishing you and Teddy a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

I can see Teddy is very busy doing double shifts. Poor bear. I hope you spoil him when he is off duty. Give him a cuddle from me.
Snow, the joys of winter! We are snowed in, and we live in southern Spain. It's ridiculous!
I love your pen & nibs postcard.
Wishing you a wonderful week,
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Teddy is such a trooper. He's our steadfast and wonderful drink spokes bear for T each Tuesday. We are SO happy to have him, too. This week's tea is remarkable. It even SOUNDS delicious, too. I'd like some Blueberry Bundt Cake Tea, please.

Sorry I missed your photos you shared, but I just saw the adorable pen and nibs postcard you created.

Thanks go to both you and Teddy today for sharing your Cake teas and your art for T this Tuesday, dear Anne.

Teddy has found some delicious looking tea cakes! I made some cranberry bread from a Pillsbury box mix this weekend and it was quite good. The box also includes directions for muffins.

My name is Erika. said...

I wonder how that tea cake tastes. It sure looks yummy though. A piece with a cup of tea would taste good this evening. It's another chilly one here. Brrr. But I must say the sun is nice. We've just had too many clouds. But this weekend, well maybe the forecast will change. Thanks for the shout out. And hope it was a super T day. Hugs-Erika

Hi Anne! Sorry I'm so late in getting around to my T-day comments. It has been a bugger to see if comments go through! I did get you last short one about not seeing your longer version! I don't use my phone or a tablet, just my PC, but I am thinking my Iphone is interfering some how.
I have noticed that if my name shows up in the identity box, under the comment box, it will go through. If it says choose an identity it won't go through.......UGH! What a pain!!
Anyway, stay warm with all the snow your getting.
Belated T-day wishes...........Teddy is so cute!

Please thank Teddy for the tea cake. I hope he'll help keep you warm up there in the cold north. You commented on my blog that you'd prefer 70 F year round, with 50 F overnight. Me too. But I have to add "inside the house as well as outside!"

Happy T-day! Eileen xx
