I took this photograph of a male Mallard Duck while I was on the Westport Library Riverwalk in Westport, CT this past week. Unfortunately the water was dirty looking beneath him.
That's a wonderful photo - I love how you've captured the shimmery sheen of his emerald green head and neck feathers - it really glows amidst the browns and greys. Alison x
