"Babylon Is Fallen (Vertical)" - Postcard

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.

This is a companion piece to the horizontal one.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

I won't bother with any explanation of this art piece. The United States has become too polarized on all topics, for me to say anything, about anything, anymore.

9/11 Surveillance State Day

December 24, 2004, Iraq: Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense: "...the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Pentagon..." (CNN Transcripts)

December 27, 2004, Washington DC: Pentagon spokesman: "Rumsfeld misspoke on Flight 93 crash" (CNN)

September 26, 2008 (First McCain-Obama Presidential Debate): U.S. Senator Barack Obama: "Nobody talked about attacking Pakistan. Here's what I said [previously]. And if John [McCain] wants to disagree with this, he can let me know, that, if the United States has Al Qaida, [Osama] bin Laden, top-level lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act, then we should take them out [in Pakistan]."

May 2, 2011: Abbottabad, Pakistan: U.S. military kills Osama bin Laden, who had been living in Pakistan for nine years at that point in time. [Obama was amazingly prescient back in 2008.]

Prescience is not a quality you would readily apply to your last president!

I like both of these towers, but this one makes much more of a statement. Hope you are having a nice weekend.
