"Apple" - Postcard

This week's
Three Muses  challenge theme was "Apple."

I originally thought the man was carrying a basket of apples, but they might actually be tomatoes. However, the border on the right has an apple in it. This is also more of a Fall Harvest theme, which is early to be showing, as it is still just the beginning of Summer here.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

  2. Love it, other than the reference to Fall. This looks like one of those old-fashioned fruit/vegetable labels.

  5. This is a lovely postcard! I like the harvest theme. I am not sure but I think the first local apples in our area come in the end of August.
