I took these photographs at sunset on Christmas Eve in Fairfield, CT, at Lake Hills Beach #2 (by the Samp Mortar Dam).Heavy thick fog was sitting on top of the lake and rolling across the road at the bridge at Black Rock Turnpike (although it was thin there). I just managed to catch the tail end of a red sunset which reflected on the water.
The weather has been unseasonably warm here, which resulted in the fog. On Christmas day, I felt more like I was in Florida than Connecticut, with how warm it was.

What beautiful photos - a great improvement on the wet grey weather we're having! Thank you for your wishes... hope you are enjoying a peaceful and joyous festive season, and wishing you a happy 2016!
