This is 1 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at Greenfield Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, CT this past week.

Hallowe'en is one week from today! The Fall foliage is at or past peak here where I live.

At this time of year, the sound of walking through rustling leaves makes me think of childhood Trick or Treating! As a child, the anticipation was almost unbearable by now. I would have been too terrified to venture into a cemetery back then, even during the day, but as an adult, I find enjoyment and tranquility visiting them.
