"behold a pale horse" - Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Pale."

This is also an Anything Goes entry for this week's Left of Center challenge #98.

This is 2 of 2 postcards that I made using the same theme of the "Pale Horse" from the Revelation (Apocalypse). This piece is not about the death of someone, but about evil and the end of the world.

Revelation 6:8

"And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

I modified the horse, removed the original rider, and added Death as the rider.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The font is Xirwena.

I can't decide which one I like best! I think maybe the tree in the other one just wins it for me.
