This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Pieces of Pictures."

I wasn't sure what the theme was supposed to be, and all I could think of was puzzle pieces. So I made a piece that is comprised of several pictures, put together as puzzle pieces.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from the Internet Archive. (See the side of my blog for links.)

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Hearts and Flowers."

I used a design similar to the one on this tag that I had created a few weeks ago.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from a DuckDuckGo search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The font is Bookman Old Style Semi-Bold.

The words are, "Who do you need, who do you love, when you come undone?" from the song "Come Undone" by Duran Duran.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

This is a photograph I took recently of a Male Hooded Merganser that was floating around on the water sleeping. However, he seemed to keep a watchful eye on me. Two females were also nearby.

It's been very cold and snowy this winter, so I haven't been out taking photographs. This was my first time taking photographs in several months. We're supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow, except this time they're also saying we might get 0.25 inches of ice here along the coast of Connecticut. That will be very bad. I hope I don't lose power.
