I took those photographs in my yard this past week.

So, by accident, I read a little bit about "No Mow May" on Social Media the other day. I thought it started in the UK, but a quick search turned up this US site, Bee City USA, and their post about No Mow May. At this point, my lawn is in need of mowing, however, I'm going to try to mow "paths" initially, and leave areas shown by those photos, with ground cover flowers growing, unmowed. Hopefully that will allow the pollinators (bees, butterflies, etc.) to feed longer this month.

You have the Common Bugle in your lawn, too! I hadn't heard of No Mow May. The lawn guy was supposed to show up on Mon. but he didn't. He didn't answer my text so I think I'll be looking for another lawn guy

Your lawn looks lush with various green plants Anne. WE haven't mowed our lawn either, but sadly we have too many dirt spots. I think we need to try some clover seeds to fill them in. Hope you're enjoying our summery weather.
