I took those photographs at the Audubon Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary in Fairfield, CT this past week.
And just like that, most of the leaves on the trees and bushes burst open in brilliant green. Unlike the Dogwood tree flowers, the green tree leaves are about on schedule for when they normally leaf out here. The beauty of all of this green everywhere is stunning, as it is every year, after Winter's barren look.

Reflections in a still or rippling body of water are really beautiful. Monet spent a lifetime working to capture this glorious effect.
