This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Robert Burns Night."
I wasn't sure what to do for this, and ended up having to enforce my time limit on myself. This year I either have to declare my piece finished or abandon it, instead of spending excessive amounts of time on it if I don't like how it's coming out.
I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.
The vintage images are from the Internet Archive. (See the side of my blog for links.)
On the Blizzard front, it looks like I got lucky, and the storm went further East than they originally forecast. It's still snowing, but the totals here are much less than the original 2 to 3 feet they expected. The eastern part of the state looks like it took the brunt of the storm, as far as Connecticut goes.

Really nice-- like the vintage feel!
