Magazine Clippings - Week 12 - The Documented Life Project

The Week12 challenge for The Documented Life Project was "Magazine Clippings."

This is a mixed media piece. I cut out words from a magazine, then placed them on a journal page template, to determine their layout positions. I then created a design that left blank room for the areas where the cut out words would go, printed my design, then glue sticked the words to my journal page.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.10, printed it on card stock paper, cut it out, then taped it into my weekly planner.

The vintage images are from a DuckDuckGo search.

The master index for all of my entries is here.
