This week's Sunday Postcard Art theme was "Blue Monday".
I think I misunderstood what the theme was, so I'm not posting what I had originally made, and cobbled this together today. Where I live in the Northeast US, it has been snowing off and on since yesterday. And although the total accumulation when it ends late tonight won't be as bad as some past snow storms have been, it is enough to create icy road conditions. And then, as is typical for this part of the US, bitter cold will arrive for the third (Blue) Monday of January.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.38.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Very lovely image!!
ReplyDeleteThe Snow Queen has certainly been out and about today. I hope you didn't get a lot of snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Anne and I want to apologize. Apparently all our winter weather has skipped over us and headed east. I live in Utah the Winter Olympic sight for 2034, and we have had exactly one inch of snow this whole winter??? And the temperature has been in the 40's. Believe me when I tell you I could get used to this.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm my friend I'm sure it will balance itself out sooner or later.
It looks good to me.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
