My piece is a "cartoon" in the same vein as Charlie Hebdo cartoons. (Their "cartoon" offended me, but apparently some thought it was "funny" so, I too, can make cartoons that others might find offensive.) My piece and words are also free speech that is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. (Well, it used to be, prior to the ascension of the US Government Ministry of Truth dictating to Social Media Platforms which of their users need to be banned for "misinformation" as defined by the Government.)
Maybe Tom the bully will leave me another comment, telling me to shut up, because I'm not allowed to say anything unless he (and other "Free Speech is fine as long as it agrees with mine" bullies) approves of it.

Anne, I love this postcard and you know what I love even more is your willingness to speak out and continue to remind us that we do have freedom of speech and we also have freedom to create art as political means to get a message across which artists have been doing for centuries so BRAVO for you and tell "Tom the bully" that he can stick his opinion about what he thinks free speech is all about where the sun does not shine! The problem with our society today is that people are asleep and not willing to speak out when they should, and I fear we are losing our rights little by little by little, so I applaud your effort my friend! Good job!
ReplyDeleteAnd for one, it really bothers me that anyone would be offended by anything you do! I've never seen anything offensive on your website at all and would applaud your art and your artistic effort in everything you do! Yeah, Tom the Bully should come over to My Soul's Dark Imagination where I'll post a challenge to offend him because it's people like him that are causing us to lose our freedom of everything because we have to agree with them? And they have to approve what we say? Yeah, that's a problem!! Too many people are doing that these days and not questioning why because there's a intellectual reason we have freedom of speech as we are individuals with our own opinions, and we should all agree to disagree and be very platonic about it without people being a bully about it but often enough, that it not the case so when that happens , we have the right to exercise our freedom to speak what we believe to be true and not be ridiculed for it! Ben Franklin would agree!
