So, the forecast has gone from bad to worse where I am.

Heavy Rainfall and Strong to Damaging Winds Late Sunday into Early Monday Morning

Flood Watch in effect from December 10, 04:00 PM EST until December 11, 01:00 PM EST

Across portions of Long Island and Southern Connecticut, 3 to 5 inches of rainfall is likely, with locally 6+ amounts possible. Elsewhere, 2-4 inches is likely. Most of this rain will fall in a 12 hour period.

Today: High near 59. Breezy, with a south wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tonight: Low around 39. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 25 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches possible.

Monday: A 50 percent chance of rain before 10am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 44. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27. West wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
