I’m fairly certain now that every religion created by man was to keep the plebs obeisant to the %1 Rulers, who never were the smartest, they were merely the best deceivers of their own species.
And the %1 Rulers used fear as the core of whatever religion they invented, because they realized fear is the most primal emotion of all self aware living creatures on Earth. (Plants are alive, too, but they lack emotions.) Everything alive on Earth has one, and only one, purpose: to perpetuate (reproduce) itself. And to guarantee that primary instinct, Nature programmed self aware living creatures to fear death, because death potentially means extinction (that species ceases to exist). And that made fear the foremost emotion which the %1 Rulers have used to control the plebs throughout history.
I continue to return to this concept:
Nature is neither Good nor Evil.
Nature is merely reproduction and survival of the fittest.
Eventually Earth will be a lifeless planet, like Mars is now.

When a sperm fertilizes an egg (regardless of the species), cell division and expansion outward (growth) occurs, similar, if not identical, to the "Big Bang" and expansion outward (growth) of our Universe.
Some don’t believe there is a God (creator). Others then ask, "Then where did the Universe come from?" I say, "What difference does it make?"
