"when the stars fall from heaven" - Postcard

This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Star Gazing."

This is 2 of 2 postcards that I made using the same overall images, but with slightly different text.

I started this with a planets/zodiac background. Next, I blotted on dark blue and light blue splotches of color. I "stamped" a moon, stars and clouds overlay. I "stenciled" on stars and circles within the clouds. I added a thin line of clouds going from the moon to the girl's face. Then I placed the girl on this. Lastly, I added the words. On this piece, I also added some falling stars.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.22.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
