"Matchbook Cover Collage" - Postcard

I created a Boston based vintage Matchbook Cover Collage theme postcard.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search and the Boston Public Library. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Because everything in my design is old, I am entering it in this week's Tuesday's Treasures.

  4. I love your collage. I am thinking about the time it took for you to find all of the matchbox tops and then arrange them on the card. A lot of work.

  7. Beautiful art work and no antique matchbooks were harmed in the process! I love that digital images allow for this kind of creativity without going the scissors and glue route.
