"How a Hellfire Gets Shipped to Cuba" - Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Comedy/Humor."

I struggled to come up with something for this theme. In the end, I used a true event as the basis for my piece. This past week, a news article revealed that in 2014, the United States mistakenly shipped a Dummy Hellfire Missile to Cuba.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

To the best of my knowledge, it was permissible to use the comic strip panels that I altered for this postcard.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The font is Engcomica.

Oh, Anne! A bit a humor from history itself! Genius! You struggled and came up with something both funny and educational! Thanks for playing along this week with my humor challenge at the Sunday Postcard Art site!

Struggling with a challenge forces you to be creative, and it's certainly paid off here, Anne. Brilliant!
