"Weather Days" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Weather Days."

Here in New England, I got about 6 inches of snow on the first day of Spring. But as the saying here goes, "If you don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow." It continued to snow lightly Saturday morning, but by the afternoon, the temperature got up to 45 degrees F, and the new snow melted away. However, the ground is still snow covered in some places, jeopardizing my perennials that normally start growing mid-February to mid-March. I won't know how they fared for a few more weeks.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Absolutely love this Anne. It's so charming. And I like how it's personal to your weather. Good luck with those perennials!
