This is 1 of 2 posts of photographs I took at Pine Creek Marsh in Fairfield, CT yesterday.I startled this Double-crested Cormorant as we both came into view of each other. I was barely able to raise my camera and snap this shot of him in time. I was thrilled that it came out in focus and showed multiple splash rings in the water. This was definitely one of those "once in a lifetime" shots for me.
