This is 1 of 3 posts of pictures I took in Southford Falls State Park in Southbury, CT on Oct 27, 2012. I wanted to get back here in time for the peak Fall colors, but I didn't, so most of the trees are bare here.The first picture is my entry for this week's Weekly Top Shot #54.
There is still uncertainty in the track that Hurricane Sandy (Pre-Halloween 'Frankenstorm') will take, so this coming week could be very bad around here. It's de ja vu with last year, when he had a freak snow storm that cut power to many and cancelled Hallowe'en.

Lovely photos...covered bridges are just so charming! Good luck with this monster storm...you may be in more harm then our area..being on the north side. Still sooooo many folks are going to be affected. May God protect us all!
there is nothing like a covered bridge!!I know all about hurricanes...living in Florida!! Be safe!
