I created this for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2016 - May challenge.

I mimicked Tim's steps to create my tag, but I made mine somewhat differently than his. I included the intermediate steps, to show how I made mine.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Because my artwork is digital, and Tim Holtz's challenge is intended for people who buy his products, I don't usually post my tags on his site. So far this year I have been entering his challenge, but I receive few, if any, comments from all of the other artists who enter his challenge. So this will be the last time I post my link to his challenge. I will continue making tags for his challenge, but not post them on his site.

Updated note: I tried to post my entry on his site, but it was automatically deleted after appearing in the "inlinkz" initially.

I am so excited to learn about this challenge. I watch Tim's pieces on You Tube all the time and am gradually starting to learn how to use more of his products, What a talented person. Love what you did here. Great job.

With few exceptions, I rarely have the products used by Tim and part of the challenge for me is finding a way to do the techniques with alternative products. I really like how you use your own style with digitals to achieve a similar look. Well done.

I've been posting tags to his blog for over a year now and rarely receive comments. There are so many tags posted, they constantly are randomized and there is no easy way to keep track of which you have seen and which not so I suspect that people just lok and admire and hope Tim sees theirs! I truly think the only guarantee of comments on online challenges is if they are associated with avdesgn team (who are required to comment on their share of all entries).

By the way, your tag does show in the linked pueces but comes back as no such url. I fou d you through googling what I thougght might be yor blog title.
