"Down on the Farm" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Down on the Farm."

I created this using GIMP 2.8.10.

The vintage images are from a DuckDuckGo search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

I had an idea for what to do for this theme, and this wasn't it, but this is where my muse took me. Lately, I'm lucky if my muse even shows up.

There have been some great challenge themes lately, yet I can't come up with any ideas for them. Some of my favorite themes have come and gone, and I couldn't create anything for them.

I've started to think about just giving up on doing any artistic work. Who am I kidding, anyway? There are far better artists out there, and anyone can create the pieces I make, and probably in a lot less time than it takes me to struggle to create mine.

P.S. No one can create what you do-- it comes from YOU!
