"Hats"
This week’s Three Muses challenge was “Hats.” I struggled to come up with an idea, thought of a “brilliant” one, ran out of time, then needed to come up with a “simple” idea instead. First I discovered this lovely looking woman wearing a hat, and decided I wanted to use her. Her posture made me picture her seated in an old fashioned car, so I looked for that next. Then I wanted to put her in a scenic location, so I added the trees.

Anne, this is delicious. You did such a great job of seating the hatted lady in the old car. She really looks as if she belongs there. I love the trees in the background too. All together, a lovely piece of artwork.
You did what I love best --- finding the pieces and putting together a lovely picture like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I have an affinity for vintage automobiles and all things vintage, for that matter, so this really piques my fancy! Good work!
Anne, you did a lovely job of creating a beautiful vintage scene! Hugs, Terri
Really beautiful and fantastic Anne.
Love the old image.
Nice! This looks like she is doing an early search for Christmas trees - planning for winter to come. Lovely images.
Really beautiful card!!
I love that you knew what you wanted to do and then you went looking for the pieces you needed to make your wonderful piece. Bravo for the way you have your lady seated so beautifully in that car, and oh WHAT a hat.
Lovely nostalgic feel to this piece Anne- great work!
This is perfect - what a wonderful image! The lady looks like she belongs in that car. All I could think of when I heard about the hat theme was one of our grandmother's favorite sayings ..."Here's your hat, what's your hurry!"
WOW...this is awesome...gorgeous work, Anne.
Love the vintage feel to this!
Beautiful card!
Love your elegant lady!
