"The Mountains Called Me" - Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Trees."

I modified a pine tree "stamp" and used "green ink" for this.

The quote, "The mountains called me and I answered them," is from my Father, who loved to climb the White Mountains of New Hampshire, especially Mount Washington.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The fonts are:

Benjamin Franklin
Bookman Old Style Semi-Bold Italic

This is so very special, Anne, as I am in New Hampshire (not too far from the White Mountains). Great stamping and color choice here!
