"Animal Kingdom" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Animals."

This is 1 of 2 rhinoceros themed postcards I created for it.

For months now, I have struggled to produce anything creative. Recently I haven't had much spare time, either. I'm not complaining. My life is what it is. In 100 years, it won't matter.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.10.

The vintage images are from Johnson's Household Book of Nature which I found on the Biodiversity Heritage Library, which is another site that I've added to my Digital Libraries Resources links section.

Anne, I love both of your cards! Great vintage plates. I just got a really cool old bird book I can't wait to cut up! Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments. I can relate about the ups and downs of balancing life with creativity - I went almost two years without posting to my blog. I liked what you said in your post - it won't matter in 100 years. Take care and enjoy what time you can carve out for yourself, whatever pastimes you enjoy!

I'm glad you were able to find the time and inspiration to create this, Anne. It looks like something one would find in a museum bookstore. Well done!
