"Wild Things" - "Lota the Panther Woman"

This week’s Three Muses challenge was “Wild Things.” I created Lota the Panther Woman from the movie Island of Lost Souls (1932), which was based on the novel "The Island of Dr. Moreau" by H. G. Wells. (That is one of my favorite movies! All of the remakes pale in comparison to it.) In my creation, Lota’s claws and animalistic temperament are returning, as she reverts to her original form.

I don't know that film but when I see your interpretation I rather get a idea of it.

Anne this is a very striking piece, and I love the composition very much. Looking, I'm not sure which one of those three is the most frightening ..... oh wait, yes I do,it's the one in the middle. Bravo.

What a wonderful interpretation of a wonderful movie and theme. My brother loved that movie. I now realize it was because of what she was wearing. I just liked the story. You did a great job of expressing the emotion.
