The first photograph is another one of my "once in a lifetime" photographs. I had just aimed my camera at these waterfowl when something spooked them into taking off. I had to spin and aim again to get the second photograph, which has a blurred background but the birds themselves were mostly in focus.

"Art Deco" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Anything Goes" or Open Theme.

Although I'm posting this piece on Jan 1, 2014, I consider it my final piece for 2013. It started out as trying to look like Art Deco, but I'm not sure that the end result is. I went where my muse took me.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.8.

The images are from a DuckDuckGo search. DuckDuckGo allows you to search anonymously, unlike Google and the other NSA collaborators. Links for other alternatives to use, that protect your privacy, can be found on the PRISM break site.

I'm a private person, and I don't share much/any personal information on my blog. I have something I wanted to share, but I no longer feel free to do so.
