My piece is a "cartoon" in the same vein as Charlie Hebdo cartoons. (Their "cartoon", which made a joke out of the deaths of men, women, and children, offended me, but apparently some thought those deaths were "hilarious", so, I too, can make cartoons that others might find offensive.) My piece and words are also free speech that is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. (Well, it used to be, prior to the ascension of the US Government Ministry of Truth dictating to Social Media Platforms which of their users need to be banned for "misinformation" as defined by the Government.)

Maybe Tom the bully will leave me another comment, telling me to shut up, because I'm not allowed to say anything unless he (and other "Free Speech is fine as long as it agrees with mine" bullies) approves of it.

This week's Sunday Postcard Art theme was "Favourite Flowers" in "celebration of mother's (it's Mother's day in the UK)".

I used flowers that are the first signs of Spring where I live in the US. Daffodils and Crocuses are the first to appear, and they can survive under snowfall. A few weeks later, Bleeding Hearts start growing, but they can be damaged if frosts, freezing rain, etc. occur.

The Five Eyes State Run News propaganda and lies about the US Government’s War for Israel against Iran are astounding.

In 2024, Trump campaigned on "No New Wars", but he is calling the US Government’s War for Israel against Iran an "Excursion", so he will probably claim that means he did not lie.

Back in 2008, Obama campaigned on "Bringing Home The Troops", but he did not do that. Most of the 2008 "anti-war" people stopped protesting US troops being in Iraq and Afghanistan after Obama was elected.

In 2011, when Obama bombed Libya, Republicans in Congress said Obama needed Congressional approval to bomb Libya, while Democrats in Congress said he did not.

Now, in 2026, while Trump bombs Iran, Democrats in Congress say Trump needs Congressional approval to bomb Iran, while Republicans in Congress say he does not.

Yet most people remain in the Divide And Conquer trap that the Uniparty put them into, and argue with each other, while the 1% Parasites continue enriching themselves.

"How Was Your Winter" - Postcard

This week's Our Midweek Muse theme was "How Was Your Winter".

I am hoping that a picture tells a thousand words, and that my art piece shows how my Winter was. And Winter is not done yet: although rare, Connecticut can get snow in April.

I live in the southwest coastal area of Connecticut, which is also called the "tri-state" area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Because Connecticut has Long Island Sound, and the rest of the "tri-state" has the North Atlantic Ocean, our snow is typically "wet" snow. Having grown up here, I never knew that nice, light, fluffy snow, that states like Utah get, even existed until I was older: the snow here is usually heavy like cement. ;-)

This Winter has been unusually cold, unusually windy, and in addition to "normal" snowfall events, we have had two major snow storms that each dumped about 1.5 feet (0.4572 meters) of snow on us. During the first 1.5 foot storm, because the temperature was much lower than freezing, it was light, fluffy snow, except where I live, it ended as sleet / freezing rain, so there was an ice crust on top. During the second 1.5 foot storm, the temperature was close to freezing, so it was heavy, wet snow. And to add insult to injury: that snow stuck to the snow shovel like glue.

My name for my 2025-2026 Winter is: The Winter From Hell.

The Wednesday, February 25, 2026 "incident" near "the El Pino channel, in Cayo Falcones, Corralillo municipality, Villa Clara province" Cuba, involving Florida, United States maritime vessel registration number FL7726SH, reminds me of the May 2020 "incident" in Venezuela involving a maritime vessel, which resulted in the arrest and conviction in Venezuela of Americans Luke Denman and Airan Berry.

Those photos don't give much perspective, to show how much snow has fallen as of 10AM. This post shows the same area in the first photo, when the snow began. The National Weather Service reports that as of 7AM this morning, 16" (40.64 cm) of snow had been measured at Bridgeport Airport, Connecticut. Ahead of the start of the snow storm, freezing rain, sleet, and light snow had been falling. Then, around 12:50pm EST, the snow started coming down steadily. Now in effect: Blizzard Warning in effect from February 22, 01:00 PM EST until February 23, 06:00 PM EST. The forecast totals for the general area are 13" (33.02 cm) to 23" (58.42 cm), or more simply, 1 foot (0.3048 meters) to 2 feet (0.6096 meters) of snow, with the projected total of 17.2" (43.688 cm) for where I am! But hey, it could be worse, right?

WHERE: Portions of southern Connecticut and southeast New York

WHAT: Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 13 and 18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

IMPACTS: Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
