This week's My Soul's Dark Imagination theme was "Blood Moon".
I've had artist's block, so I haven't been able to create anything for these challenges until recently. Then I was too late for the Little Red Riding Hood challenge, when I finally was able to make something for it. But I reused the moon and wolf for this piece.
Note: I've been getting errors trying to leave comments on blogs, but I don't know why. Deann left me a comment, saying I'm being marked as spam.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.38.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

Well, the result is perfect, impressive!
We all have our muses on holiday at one time or another... It's one of those mundane things that overwhelms us.
Anne, I am so happy you joined in on the challenge this week. I am sorry to hear you had artist's block. We all go through that from time to time, but when the creativity comes back to us it is better than ever, and I see by your incredible art piece that you created for the challenge that you have your art "Mojo" back on and running! I have always admired your digital work!! Great job with the images and digital effects which fit perfectly with the Theme! So looking forward to many more wonderful art pieces from you in the weeks to come! Have a great day!
I wanted to tell you that when I lived in Maryville TN. near the Great Smoky Mountains National park, I was a Tour Guide to U. S. Ghost Tours in Gatlinburg, TN. so I am into all of the Haunted Places and Ghost Sightings myself! I love your blog and all of the places yo have posted in Connecticut that are haunted! Right up my Dark alley!
Gorgeous take on Blood Moon my friend.
Thank you for the links! I will certainly look up TN and also want to post those on the blog as well! I am sure Gatlinburg is listed! There is a cemetery there that I, as well as others, got pics of ghostly activity during the tour! I might share them in a theme for the blog eventually!
i came to your blog today to see this and it is marvelous, well done! (and i enjoyed quote a few other pieces on my way to this one!) xo
