This week's Our Midweek Muse theme was "White Space".
Some pale yellow crept into this, despite me trying to make it pale white. Yellow, the color of sunshine, seems to be a recurring, subconscious theme in my artwork lately.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.36.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
-----
Life can show no mercy
It can tear your soul apart
And I never saw the writing that was on the wall
That you were crying
And the rain turned into tears upon your face
I hardly recognized the girl you are today
When your world's crashing down
And you can't bear the thought
When the world's crashing down
And you can not bear the cross
'Cause when you feel like you're done
And the darkness has won
I could have told you
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you
