"Blue Moon Pagan Rituals"

© All Rights Reserved
This week’s Macabre Monday challenge #019 was “Moonglow.” My scene depicts a witch concocting a potion in preparation for a Pagan Ritual at the stroke of midnight on the Blue Moon (Dec 31, 2009). A devil sits nearby. The Blue Moon shines in the background.

As I was getting ready to post this, I re-read the challenge and realized the moon was supposed to be the main feature, so this might not be fully compliant. If I get time, I’ll try to make another one, since the moon is one of my favorite themes!

Fantastic image and very creative! Have been doing a bit of blog reading today and have come up with a new motto to live by... "Break the Rules!" Easier said than done for some of us but sometimes we come up with our best work when we follow that advice.
