I took those photographs of the Full Strawberry Moon in the early morning hours. Because of the current heat wave that we get most Summers, the moon had an orange hue to it the past few nights.
It's hard to see because it's dark, but this black metal hanging solar lantern has stars and circles cut into it, which form patterns on the floor (ground when outside). This lantern has a handle, so it can be hung or placed on a table top. Sometimes one needs a little magic in one's life, to brighten it. This lantern did that for me.
I took those photographs this past week. Three fawns roamed into my yard. This one stood out to me because of the parallel spots along both sides of its back. Maybe all fawns have spots like that, but this is the first time I noticed that type of symmetry on a fawn. Prior to this, I have only seen random spots on their sides.
It was dusk, so these photographs are dark. Although I live on a busy main road, and there are many houses nearby, there is also enough wooded cover for animals to thrive. I don't normally see Coyotes, even though they are here. This one stopped by to eat some overripe grapes that I had put out for animals to eat.
It's been almost a year since I last made a blog post featuring my "cat", as Teddy calls him ;-). I cherish him and am grateful to have him in my life.

Like a song
Out of tune and out of time
All I needed was a rhyme for you
C'est la vie
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star
Like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are
How fragile we are
The diamond shapes are from an Illuminated Manuscript. When I saw the image, the diamonds popped out at me, so I digitally cut them out of it, to use in this. They might not be perfectly geometrical, but this is where my muse took me.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.38
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
