I made an Irish theme piece that was inspired by the name of an area restaurant/pub, The Castle On Post, which has delicious Corned Beef Spring Rolls as well as other Irish fare on their menu.
I created this using GIMP 2.8.22.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
I used Asian stamps to make an ocean scene with flying cranes. I experimented with blending colors and smudging for the waves, sky, and sun colors. The technique forced me out of my comfort zone, but I like the end result.
