This is 4 of 4 posts of photographs I took this past week at the reservoir in Easton, CT. A group of turtles was resting on this log until an interloper came along, and started knocking them off. The interloper tumbled into the water during the scuffle, and then there was one.

I took these photographs of two Blue Jays that were in my yard today. At first I thought the one bird was injured or dead because of the way its wings were spread out. It remained motionless for about a minute, but just when I decided to walk over to check on it, it flew off. I snapped the first photo right after that, before the remaining bird flew off also.

I took these photographs of a Crow in my bird feeder in the past month. The shots are grainy and blurry because they were taken through a closed window. I haven't done much photography lately because it has been very hot here for quite a while, seemingly since the day summer began.
