"Summer Dreams" - Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Roses."

Once again, I struggled to come up with something.

The words are from Shakespeare's Sonnet 18.

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The font is HarabaraHand Italic
