Library Book Stacks - Photographs

This is 1 of 4 posts of photographs I took of the inside of the Pequot Library in the Southport section of Fairfield, CT this past week.

This is a beautiful and historic library that is at risk of being closed! These are photographs of the book stacks on the second floor of the library.

I have a blog post about trying to save the library here.

I scrolled down to see all of your library shots. What a wonderful old library with such great vintage details. It would be a shame for it to close.
I've loved books and libraries all my life. With the kindle and electronic books I really wonder how long we will have libraries.
Great shots!
