"Sea Whispers" - Postcard

© All Rights Reserved
This is my third entry for this week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge "Feathered Friends." I love birds, and I wanted to experiment further with watercolor brushes and colors.

The vintage bird image is from an Internet search. The leaf background is from Combinaisons Ornementales by Maurice Verneuil.

The font is FranciscoLucas Llana.

The words are from the book By Salt Marshes, with a slight modification by me.

Sea whispers, then silence, save at intervals a slight and timid rustling of the grass and vines...
