"Protagonist Pollock" - Postcard

This week's theme at My Soul's Dark Imagination was "Protagonist Pollock".

I added various spots and splats, but then I thought part of the swirl patterns looked like eyes. So I added two eyes, even though Jackson Pollack's art was solely paint splattered on a canvas, without adding anything sinister looking to that, like I did with mine.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.38.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

  1. But it's really well done, Anne!
You struggled, but you did well.
The result is great and really deserves to be enlarged!

  2. Very cool, it's like a haunted Pollack painting.

  3. I love the eyes! Great creative process! Pollock would say "great job"!!! And I say the same! Vibrant colors and the splatter of each is wonderful! You nailed this one sister! Thank you for joining in on the challenge!
