Pink Fern Bleeding Hearts Flowers - Photograph

I took that photograph in my yard this past week. Unlike Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts, the Fern type has flowers from Spring until the first frost of the Fall season. The little black seeds that form inside the flowers can be sprinkled around on the ground, and will grow in the Spring, after going through a Winter season.

  1. What a beautiful plant Anne. I didn't know about this fern type. Does it like some shade? I could use a plant like this for my shade garden. I can tell you are a bit further south than me because you have flowers in bloom already. Enjoy them.
