  2. I wish I could have goldenrod on the patio. It's such a bright spot this time of year.

  3. Goldenrod is surely the most maligned of all plants, well, after Dandelion perhaps, but it is beautiful, and at this time of the year important for insect pollinators and other nectar-seeking organisms. We even have a couple of plants in our backyard - and very welcome they are too.
