    That's a male, and very handsome too. No more than thirty years ago Red-bellied Woodpecker was rare here. Now it rivals Downy Woodpecker as the most common,

    What a great assortment of birds at your feeder! I am trying to pick a favorite but it is hard to decide. I think it would be the cardinal, although they are all wonderful!

    Looks like the woodpecker is the King of the Feeder at your house. At mine, it’s a male cardinal. Enjoy your day!
