I took those photographs of the Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts growing in my flower garden this past week. The plants are smaller than usual, but they did survive the frosts and hail they were subjected to this Spring.
...there now are many different Bleeding Hearts, but this is still my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad they survived. They are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers! What a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Bleeding Hearts in years. They don't grow in my region. You are SO lucky to have them growing in your yard.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Bleeding hearts are one of my all-time favorite perennial flowers. They are so elegant and lovely.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful flower, one of my favorites to photograph.
ReplyDeleteThe botanical garden, where I might find these is still closed, thank you for showing yours! Only 3C here, brrr..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful xXx
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful flower and a gorgeous colour.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Exquisitely gorgeous! They are such delicate and yet, concurrently, substantial blooms, whose shape and beauty inspire and enchant in equal measure.
