This is 1 of 2 postcards that I made for this week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge "Trees."
The background text is from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, one of my favorite short stories.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.12.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
...and topless!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card, Anne

ReplyDeleteThis image definitely has a spooky look to it xXx
ReplyDeletethis is marvelous! xo
ReplyDeleteAnd a little scary, too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. I like your choice of background text. Old Sturbridge Village does a moving play of Washington Irving's story at various locations in the village. The play is from now until 11/3.
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Anne, i love them both.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Oh I love this. I remember being very scared of a recorded version of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Grade 1 (a bit too young for such things if you ask me!). Fantastic spooky mood on this card Anne. :)
