White Water Lilies and Frogs - Photograph

This is 2 of 4 posts of photographs that I took at Paine Open Space Island Pond Preserve in Easton, CT this past week.

Those water lilies were in Island Pond. If you look closely at the last photo, you'll see a frog above the top left flower, and another one above the bottom right flower. The one in the third photo, with the tail, is a tadpole with legs or a froglet: it is still transitioning from a tadpole to a frog. There were a lot of bugs and mosquitoes biting me, so I couldn't linger long here.

  4. I'm enjoying your photos of this location, and I got a special kick out of the frog :) He'll certainly put a dent in the mosquito population.
